Kuldeep Rai Sharma had recently called on the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) and requested him arrange trips to various forest areas for school students under a new initiative ‘Know Your Jungle’ for execution and recreation. This he said will not only give extensive knowledge about Andaman Flora and Fauna but also keep our children physically fit and mentally active.

Port Blair, May 22: The 13th KIIT International Chess Festival 2022 began today morning at KIIT University Campus, Patia, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

More than 700 players from India and abroad are participating in three different categories in this prestigious event. One player from Andaman & Nicobar Islands viz. Sayansh Jindal of class IV of Carmel Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair is also participating in Category B where around 340 players are playing.
