Port Blair, Sept. 7: The Department of Environment and Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Islands is conducting Forest Rangers Examination from 21st August to 10th September, 2023 on 21 different optional subjects and one subject of General Knowledge & General English. The official answer keys for these examinations will be published online on 12/09/2023. The applicants have been advised to access the same through the web portal https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in and click on Answer Key link option then mention their registration number & date of birth and verify their answer keys.

Port Blair, Sept. 7: All the eligible PDS beneficiaries of the UT have been informed that the PDS foodgrains shall be distributed in advance for 2 months for September, 2023 & October, 2023 in one go in the entire UT in the month of September, 2023. All the Ration Card holders have been informed that they can purchase the foodgrains as per their entitlement for 2 months in one go from September 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023.

Port Blair, Sept. 6: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, Government of India to release of atleast Rs. 100 crores from the Central Road Fund for Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, Government of India, the Member of Parliament mentioned that the Central Road Fund, is earmarked for road construction and maintenance, and the fund remains available with the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways for all States and UTs.
