Port Blair, Feb 19: Nehru Yuva Kendra Port Blair organized a day long career guidance workshop at ANCOL on Feb.14 which was participates by over 150 youth. Dr. S. Jayakumar, Principal, ANCOL who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that the program will help the youth to identify career goals, set education milestones and clear path to achieve it and prepare them for holistic career development.

Port Blair, Feb 17: The Department of Home Science, JNRM in association with the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India organised a Two Days Capacity Building Workshop on Drug Abuse Prevention for Anganwadi Workers from 16th to 17th February 2023. The valedictory function for the seminar was held on 17th February 2023 in seminar room, JNRM. Smt. Pramila Kumari, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman District graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Kunju Mohammed (age 55 Years), Ex-Executive Member of Andaman Moplah Service Organisation S/o Shri K.P. Unni Mohammed Haji, R/o Mannarghat who passed away on 17.02.2023. He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
