Port Blair, March 19: The 3-day long tourism roadshow organized by Andaman Association of Tour Operators in association with Ministry of Tourism concluded with a grand function at Hotel Peerless Resort on 18th March 2023.
The roadshow was inaugurated by Shri. Keshav Chandra, IAS, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration on 16th March at hotel TSG Emerald View. A total of 30 reputed tour operators, social media influencers, bloggers and photographers from all over the country participated in the roadshow. The participants visited various tourist spots in Port Blair and Swaraj Dweep. They also visited hotels and resorts in these Islands during their three days stay.

Port Blair, March 19: As a part of Red Ribbion Club Activity for AIDS Control and STDs Awareness under the umbrella ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahautsav’, a half day sensitization programm was conducted at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology.

Port Blair, March 19: The National General Secretary of Rashtriya Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (RRKMS), Shri. Vishnu Prasad Verma visited these Islands on 17th March 2023 to review the settlement of the working class raised after the settlement of the protests.
The General Secretary, RRKMS first visited the Cellular Jail and paid homage to the freedom fighters. On 19th a programme was conducted at Saraswati Shishu Mandir to introduce the National General Secretary in which Shri. Vijay Kumar, Vice President, Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKM) welcomed the gathering and presence.

Port Blair, March 19: A case of theft of cash from Hari Mandir, Kadamtala was reported at PS Kadamtala on 18/03/2023 and the case has been worked out promptly by the efforts of police team of PS Kadamtala leading to the arrest of accused person and recovery of stolen cash within a short span.

Port Blair, March 19: A financial literacy cum Awareness Program for college students and first time entrepreneurs on Government Sponsored Scheme and Flagship Schemes of Government of India was conducted by State Bank of India on 18th March 2023 at 2.30 PM at Tagore Government College of Education Auditorium, Middle Point, Port Blair. Shri C Arvind, Secretary (Finance), was conceded as Chief Guest.
