Port Blair, July 12: A household competition called Waste to Wonder (only from waste products) has announced by PBMC in connection with the Swachh Survekshan-2023, which begins on July 15th. Interested participants are hereby advised to submit the innovative handmade products made from waste along with (name, area, cell number) and a photo or selfie with their waste to wonder item in your mobile and submit the same item to the Kaithan Kalyanam Mandapam Community Hall on July 16 before 12:30 am.

Port Blair, July 12: Like every year, this year also the Freshwater Fish Seed Farm, Nayagaon, Department of Fisheries, A & N Administration has produced Freshwater Fish Seeds of Indian Major Carps (IMC) and has started fish seed distribution among the fish farmers of A & N Islands from today onwards.

In the first phase, 9 High Volume Services have been identified and certain documents which are required are proposed to be removed. The details have been uploaded in the State Portal viz. https://andaman.gov.in. The stakeholders and general public have been requested to make suggestion for further simplification.

Chaired by the Secretary (Labour, Employment & Training), the meeting marked an important milestone in advancing skill development initiatives and programs within the district. The District Skill Development Committee serves as a pivotal body at the district level, dedicated to promoting and overseeing skill development endeavors.
