Port Blair, July 21: On receiving information that availability of Mortuary Van is a major issue in Diglipur region, the Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has recommended a Mortuary Van for the Panchayat Samiti Diglipur from MPLADS fund for the Diglipur region.

Rangalal Halder on 21st July 2022 staged a protest rally to condemn the decision of the Enforcement Directorate to summon Congress leader Sonia Gandhi for questioning in the National Herald case. The rally started from Gandhi Bhawan to Gandhi Statue and returned back to Gandhi Bhawan.

90% eligible students administered second dose under 12-14 and 15-17 years age groups

Diglipur, July 21: A special Vaccination drive was conducted at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sita Nagar of Diglipur today.  The target was to cover the students of 12-14 and 15-17 age groups. At the end of the camp the results are very satisfactory.

25,820 Beneficiaries in the Age Group of 12 to 14 Years Administered Both Doses of Vaccine

Port Blair, July 21: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,88,966 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,870 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years.  25,820 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 43,337.
