Port Blair, Oct. 28: In continuation with the on-going Police Flag Day commemorative events, on 28/10/2020, A & N Traffic Police had organised a motorcycle rally with recovery van. The rally was flagged off infront of ITF Ground, VIP Road by Shri. Manoj C., IPS Superintendent of Police (Traffic) in the presence of Shri. Ajay Kr. Rai, DANIPS (Dy.SP Traffic).

Port Blair, Oct. 28: The Ex- Member of Parliament, Shri. Bishnu Pada Ray along with Shri. Rakeshwar Lall, State General Secretary (Org)., Kesariya Hindu Vahini, Andaman & Nicobar Islands met the Secretary, PBMC on 27th Oct. 2020 and discussed the issue of potholes on the road leading from Calcutta Store - Sisty Nagar till Marine Gate. The Secretary, PBMC has assured that she will take up the matter and get the repairs done.

Port Blair, Oct. 27: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has informed the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands that total 3669 students have passed 12th class from the Government and private schools in these Islands during the academic session 2019-2020. All together 6639 students have applied for admission for their higher studies in the colleges of JNRM, ANCOL at Port Blair and MG College at Mayabunder for the academic session 2020-21.  However due to acute shortage of intake of seats in JNRM & ANCOL at Port Blair and MG College at Mayabunder, these students are unable to get the admission for higher studies in these colleges.
