Port Blair, Jan. 16: It has come to the notice of the Tourism Department that some tourists while on visit to the Natural Bridge at Laxmanpur-ll, Shaheed Dweep walk on corals and protected marine biodiversity due to lack of information and knowledge. The coral reef & coastal ecosystem is fragile in nature and therefore, it needs to be protected & conserved.

Port Blair, Jan 16: On 14^th January 2023 with an aim to infuse sportsmanship, camaraderie and brotherhood among the local youth & with the tagline “Say Yes To Cricket & No To Drugs”, the “Ek Nazar SHG” & “NS Sporting Club” in collaboration with Gram Panchayat Mithakhari at Muslimbasti Flood Light Playground organized an Open to All T10 Night Cricket Tournament in the name of “CHALLENGER’S TROPHY 2k23”.

As part of the strengthening of Health facilities in A & N Islands, 7 more Specialists have been appointed by the A & N Administration and posted to different Health Institutions of these Islands following interview on 27.09.2022.

Miletilak, Jan 16:  On January 15, 2023 WITH YOU (NGO) distributed clothing to the needy residents of Miletilak village. The clothes were generously donated by members of the community and were warmly received by the villagers.
