Port Blair, Jan 18: As part of Police Raising Week from 16th to 23rd January 2021, South Andaman District Police organized a Panel discussion at JNRM Auditorium, Port Blair on 18/01/2021 at 1100 hrs, on the topic “Prevention of Drug Abuse”. The panel discussion was chaired by Shri Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.

Port Blair, Jan 18: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to make the dialysis units at CHC Rangat and CHC Diglipur operational at the earliest. This is to safeguard the health of dialysis patients of Rangat and  Diglipur Tehsil, since the number of dialysis patients here is very high.

Port Blair, Jan 18: The District Child Protection Unit (SA) under the District Administration organized a workshop on Personality Development at Seva Niketan, Dairyfarm.

The emphasis of the workshop was to impart ideas to the students for developing an outgoing and impressive personality that will enhance the quality and make them unique and also would help them to face the competitive world.

India ranks first in the number of road accident deaths across the 199 countries and accounts for almost 11% of the accident related deaths in the World.
