Port Blair, July 5: Shri Dilip Ghosh, National Vice President BJP & Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Shri Arvind Menon, National Secretary, BJP will be arriving on a two days Visit to Andaman from 7th July 2002. Both the leaders will be attending various programmes arranged by the State Unit of the party and will return on 8th July after completing all the programmes.

Port Blair, July 5: Heavy rain (07-11 cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Due to squally weather with wind speed exceeding 45 kmph is likely to prevail over Andaman sea and off Andaman & Nicobar Islands coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea.

ALL THE SAILINGS ARE SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS
Due to administrative reasons the announced sailing programme of MV Chowra for Nancowry via Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa & Katchal on 09.07.2022 has been revised. Now, the vessel is planned to sail for Campbell Bay via Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal & Nancowry on 09.07.2022 (Sat) at 0800 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 13.07.2022 (Wed) 1700 Hrs from Campbell Bay via same route.

Port Blair, July 5: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,83,916 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,588 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 24,562 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 27,736.

Port Blair, July 4: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma inaugurated an open prayer hall at Zilla Parishad, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Shore Point today.
The inauguration function was initiated by the lighting of lamps and a welcome song was presented by the students of the school. This was followed by a welcome address by Smti. Dhana Rekha, Zilla Parishad Member, Shore Point Constituency.
