Governor, A&N Islands & Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency, Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM,YSM,NM,VSM (Retd.) attended the 8th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today at New Delhi, with the objective to ideate and deliberate necessary initiatives towards Viksit Bharat 2047, in the spirit of cooperative federalism.

Port Blair, May 28: Zoological Survey of India, Port Blair is organizing Exhibition on Faunal Diversity of Andaman & Nicobar Islands as a part of celebration of World Environment Day 2023. This exhibition explores the animal diversity and different ecosystem of A&N Islands through preserved specimens of various faunal groups, LED displays, Video, Pamphlets, and Brochures etc.

The World Environment Day has always been a day a special important to India. Port Blair, May 28: The month long summer Holiday Camp-2023 organized by the Science Centre concluded with a valedictory function held in its premises at Goodwill Estate today. Dr. Eaknath B Chakurkar, Director, ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair was the chief guest on the occasion. The chief guest along with other dignitaries inspected the various models viz. Aero Modeling, Creative Science, Fun Biology, Electricity Projects, Robotic Science, Model Rocketry, Fun Mathematics & Astronomy presented by the students. He also interacted with students while inspecting the displayed models.
