Port Blair, Sept. 12: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,378 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,970 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 479 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,71,375.

Port Blair, Sept. 12: Four COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands from incoming flight passenger who arrived yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1760 passengers arrived, out of which, 1640 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 84 passengers and the reports are awaited.
