Port Blair, Sept. 18: The Indian Coast Guard conducted International Coastal Cleanup campaign at Radhanagar Beach, Swaraj Dweep Island on 17th Sep 22. Inspector General Bhisham Sharma, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (A&N) was the chief guest for the occasion. The event was conducted along in line with GoI initiative of “Swachh Sagar Surakshit Sagar”

Port Blair, Sept. 17: The offline counselling schedule of DBRAIT Port Blair will be held from 8.30 am to 5 pm at DBRAIT Auditorium from Sept. 21. Accordingly, the counseling for DHMCT, FOO, FPO (Category I, II, IIIA, IIIB, IIIAB, IV, TFW, EWS, Divyang and Left over seats) will be held on Sept. 2.

Port Blair, Sept. 18: A cleanliness drive was conducted at Bambooflat Jetty by PRI members of Gram Panchayats Shorepoint, Bambooflat 1, Bambooflat 2 and Hopetown. Miss V. K. Mariyam Bibi, ZPM, Bambooflat and Pradhans of various Gram Panchayats requested the shopkeepers, fish sellers, vendors to inform the people to not litter the waste in open places as dustbins are provided everywhere and it is collected by the panchayat sanitation workers daily.
