Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 16: The District Industries Centre, Department of Industries is dedicated to fostering the growth of MSMEs and to help local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) grow and access bigger markets. National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), under the Ministry of MSME supports businesses with marketing, technology, and credit solutions.
To make it easier for MSMEs to reach new customers, NSIC has created a digital platform-www.msmemart.com. This B2B portal helps MSMEs showcase their products and services, get tender alerts, find franchise and subcontracting opportunities and explore trade leads. It also connects them with global buyers and provides useful tools like links to Government schemes and business events.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 16: SAI Sri Vijaya Puram is going to conduct the selection trials in Little Andaman for the age group of 10 years to 14 years at Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Hutbay (Little Andaman) on 18th Jan, 2024 from 9 am onwards for admission of Athletes in the Residential Scheme of Sports Authority of India. In the following week, similar selection trials will be conducted at Nancowry Group of Islands, the details of which will be shared in due time.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 16: The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Andaman and Nicobar Administration will be organizing PET Walk/Rally on January 19, 2025 at 6 am, as part of on-going Animal Welfare Fortnight.
This Pet Walk holds great significance as it symbolizes a collective celebration of Animal Welfare and companionship. The event will commence from Marina Park, extending all the way to Flag Point, encompassing a scenic and enjoyable route for the participating pet owners and their furry companions.

Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 16: Due to administrative reasons, the Directorate of Shipping Services has revised the sailing programme of Inter Island Sector vessels. Accordingly, the scheduled sailing programme of the vessel Nalanda for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 21.01.2025 at 0900 hrs from Sri VijayaPuram has been revised. Now, the vessel will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry & Katchal on 21.01.2025 at 0900 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail back to Sri Vijaya Puram on 23.01.2025 at 0800 hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.
