Port Blair, Sept. 16: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,535 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,977 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 533 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,85,777.

Port Blair, Sept. 16: The vessel M.V. Swaraj Dweep is expected to arrive at Port Blair on Sept. 17 at 1700 hrs from Vizag. She has on board a total passenger of 289 adults and 3 infants. On arrival, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and passengers will be disembarked immediately.

Port Blair, Sept. 16: One positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 10 flights with 1755 passengers arrived, out of which, 1641 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 72 passengers and the reports are awaited.
