I extend my heartiest greetings to all journalists from the media fraternity of Andaman & Nicobar Islands on National Press Day. I am glad to see our media fraternity is working tirelessly towards the development of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

National Press Day is observed every year on November 16. It is symbolic of a free and responsible press in India. This was the day on which the Press Council of India started functioning.

The celebrations of National Press Day are incomplete without celebrating the freedom of the press. A very Happy National Press Day to everyone.

Press is one thing which connects us with the world and that’s why we must thank it. Warm greetings on the occasion of National Press Day.
