Port Blair, Oct. 18: On the occasion of ‘World Students Day’ on 15.10.2020, WITH YOU (NGO) distributed masks and pens to students of Govt. Senior Secondary school, Ferrargunj, Mannarghat and Govt. Secondary School Shoalbay. Ms V. K. Mariyam Bibi, President, WITH YOU, NGO interacted with the students studying in class 9, 10, 11, 12th and motivated them to work hard and to follow three thump rules i.e. wearing masks, hand washing & maintain social distancing to contain the spread of Covid 19.

Port Blair, Oct. 16: Mr. Samir Acharya, Secretary of the Society for Andaman & Nicobar Ecology breathed his last today morning at 3.30 am at Chakraborty Hospital, Port Blair after brief period of illness. He was 76. He is survived by his wife Geetanjali Acharya, daughter Samhita Acharya and grandson Marvellous Giles.
