They are the one who interact with tourists at tourist sites. The best Tourist Guide should have the basic command over language, knowledge about the destinations, history about the heritage sites, information about weather conditions, safe diving sites/zones, basic do’s and don’ts for tourists etc.

Port Blair, April 28: As approved by the Pondicherry University, it has been decided to grant two additional chances in the examination to be held for Nov/Dec' 2022 and April/May 2023 sessions to all the UG/PG students of JNRM admitted from the Academic Year 2006-07 to 2015-16 who could not complete the courses within the maximum duration prescribed in the respective regulations to enable them to appear for their arrear papers and successfully complete their degree. The additional chance given for Nov/Dec, 2022 session is already over.

Port Blair, April 28: Power supply will remain suspended on April 29 at Outer & Tiger Feeder: Garacharma to Tirur, Ograbaj to Dunduspoint, Namunaghar, Tusnabad to Jirkatang, Gadatoli, Sippighat, Teylerabad, Bimblitan, Manjery, Wandoor, HUmferygunj and Dhanikhari from 8 am to 3 pm, in connection with pole replacement and dropout set fitting at Tiger and outer feeder.
