Port Blair, June 30: Sunni Students Federation (SSF) Andaman organized a bike rally from Panighat to Wimberleygunj on 30th June, 2024 to mark International Drug Awareness Day. The rally, aimed at promoting a drug-free society, saw participation from local youth and community leaders. Starting at 3:00 pm from Panighat, the bikers carried banners and placards spreading messages of drug prevention.

Port Blair, July 1: The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) organized an Orientation and Capacity Building programme for the youth of “Red Ribbon Club” (RRC) of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery, Port Blair on Prevention and Control of HIV & AIDS on 27th June 2024. More than 20 students were present for the orientation programme.    

The programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. Subrata Saha, Project Director, A & N AIDS Control Society.

Port Blair, July 1: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for fresh admission and re-registration for all the courses till 15th July 2024. IGNOU offers various programmes under certificate, diploma, PG Diploma, Bachelor`s and master’s course at Regional Centre, Port Blair.
