CPI (M) Andaman & Nicobar State Organising Committee mourns the sudden demise of Shri CM Vasanthan, retired Office Superintendent, A&N Administration at his home town Kallambalam, Thiruvananthapuram District Kerala today (31.10.2022) morning. He was 79 years. CPI (M) conveys its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.

Port Blair, Oct. 30: Highlighting some of the crucial issues of Car Nicobar Island, the Member of Parliament of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to resolve the long pending grievances of Tribal Council, Car Nicobar.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament mentioned that during his recent visit to Car Nicobar Island, he interacted with the representatives of Tribal Council and during meeting, the members of Tribal Council presented many grievances urging him to take up the issues with the Government and A&N Administration.

Diglipur, Oct. 30: Aiming to create scientific thinking and to develop aptitude in transforming the concepts into reality, the “Rashtreeya Avishkar Abhiyan” has been launched by the Government, throughout the country. Various projects have been implemented in schools to create conducive environment for learning and experimentation. Joining the ‘Abhiyan’, the Cluster Resource Centre Govt. Model SS School Sita Nagar too has initiated several steps to motivate the students of this vast rural region.
