Shri. V K Abdul Aziz, President, District Congress Comittee Brindraban expressed deep sadness at the passing away of Smti Amina, Resident of Stewartgunj who breathed her last today (18.12.2021). Late Amina is the mother of Shri Salam, former Director of Agriculture.

Donates Kits and Equipment Worth Rs. 10 Lakhs

Port Blair, Dec. 17: A not for profit organisation Mantra4change from Bangalore has donated kits and equipment worth Rs. 10 Lakhs to the Health Department of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The donation is being sent to the remotest Primary Health Centre at Radhanagar in Diglipur and is expected to improve the infrastructure out there.

A flag off event was organised today near Netaji Stadium, wherein the Director of Health Services, Dr. Munni Singhania graced the occasion as the chief guest while Dr. Avijit Roy, Dy Director and Nodal Officer COVID-19 A&N Islands was the guest of honour.

Port Blair, Dec. 17: The Member of Parliament, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary of A&N Administration to direct the concerned department to schedule sailing of passenger vessels for Nicobar District atleast four times in a month. He also requested that the schedule be published well in advance so that people can plan medical treatment and mainland journey accordingly.
