Port Blair, July 1: The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) organized an Orientation and Capacity Building programme for the youth of “Red Ribbon Club” (RRC) of Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery, Port Blair on Prevention and Control of HIV & AIDS on 27th June 2024. More than 20 students were present for the orientation programme.    

The programme was organized under the leadership of Dr. Subrata Saha, Project Director, A & N AIDS Control Society.

Port Blair, July 1: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for fresh admission and re-registration for all the courses till 15th July 2024. IGNOU offers various programmes under certificate, diploma, PG Diploma, Bachelor`s and master’s course at Regional Centre, Port Blair. IGNOU has also introduced four-year programs for this academic session for example: - Bachelor of Arts (BAM), Bachelor of science (BSCM), Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMF) etc. and it is also offering six MBA courses, including the newly introduced MBA in Agribusiness Management, Health care and Hospital Management, Certificate in Beekeeping, Diploma in value added products from Fruits and Vegetables etc. All courses are recognized by the UGC and are valid for appearing in NET, SET, SLET examinations. The process of fresh admission and re-registration is fully online.
