Port Blair, Sept. 9: The State President (Mahila Morcha), Hindu Rashtra Shakti, Smti Minoto Biswas has raised the issue of non-availability of injections of pregnancy to cow in A&N Islands before the Chief Secretary. Biswas informed the Chief Secretary that there is no stock of injection of Pregnancy to cow available in the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, A&N Administration for the last one month.

Hut Bay, Sept. 9: In fight against bootlegging and sale of liquor illicitly, the police team of PS Hut Bay, South Andaman District achieved a major success and seized a huge quantity of 173 nos. of 750ml IMFL bottles from bootleggers near Helipad, Hutbay while they were transporting/carrying the bottles in a car bearing reg. no. AN01 D5790.

Port Blair, Sept. 9: Miss V. K. Mariyam Bibi, Zilla Parishad Member, Bambooflat today discussed about the non-functioning of Canteen at Chatham Jetty with the Chief Port Administrator, PMB. She apprised him about the difficulties faced by the commuters due to the closure of canteen since last 8 months. She also informed that as Chatham Jetty is the major transit point and thousands of passengers commute daily there is a need to make the canteen functional at the earliest.
