Sri Vijaya Puram, July 3: In a commendable initiative aimed at spreading joy and raising awareness, the Innerwheel Club of Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) organized a special screening of the inspirational film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ for the Divyang (specially-abled) children of CRC, Brookshabad. The screening took place on 30th June 2025 at Divyum Talkies and was attended by the children, their parents, caregivers, and CRC staff.
The event was organized with the dual objective of providing a joyful and memorable experience for the children, while also sensitizing parents and caregivers to the psychological and emotional needs of persons with special abilities. For many of the attendees, this was their first opportunity to enjoy a film in a theatre setting — a moment filled with laughter, dancing, and pure happiness.
President of the Innerwheel Club, Ms. Neeta Agrawal, Charter President Raj Mahajan, Joint Secretary Ms. Priya Krishna, and other members of the Club were present during the event. Ms. Sumitha, Director of CRC, Sri Vijaya Puram, along with her dedicated staff, also participated in making the day special for the children.
