Sri Vijaya Puram, July 15: As per the calendar of events of the Directorate of Tourism, A&N Administration, the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India and the Tourism Department, will be organizing the Island Monsoon Cycling Tour 2026 in the Open Men and Women categories on 19th July, 2026. The event will commence at 6.30 am from the Netaji Stadium Main Gate. The routes are as under:
Route: Netaji Stadium Main Gate (Starting Point) → B.Ed. Girls’ Hostel → GSSS Girls’ School → JNRM College → Government Press → Sinclairs Hotel → Mazar Pahad Chowk → Science Centre → Hornbill Nest → Corbyn’s Cove Beach (Finishing Point)
The Directorate has invited interested participants from Government Departments, Uniformed Forces, Government and Private Schools, Colleges, Institutions, Organizations, and the general public to participate in the Island Monsoon Cycling Tour 2026 from Netaji Stadium to Carbyn’s Cove Beach.
All participants have been requested to report at the Netaji Stadium Main Gate on July 19 before 6 am, along with their own bicycles, to complete the necessary registration and other formalities.
