Sri Vijaya Puram, May 22: In the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, a ‘Kisan Call Centre’ has been set up at the Directorate of Agriculture, Haddo with Telephone No. 03192-243434 with an objective to answer queries of farmers related to Agriculture, Veterinary and Fisheries. After taking expert advice from the respective Department, the queries raised are communicated to the concerned person in local language.
In November 2016, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has allotted eleven-digit Toll Free Number 1800 345 1145 to ‘Kisan Call Centre’. This number is accessible through mobile phone and landline no. of all telecom networks. Kisan Call Center service is available on all working days from 8.30 am to 5 pm.
