Sri Vijaya Puram, June 30: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has revised the Minimum Rates of Wages across all Employments in addition to Govt. Departments/Offices/Industrial Establishments by taking into account the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) based on average rise in All India Consumer Price Index as mandated under the provisions of “Code on Wages, 2019” in the UT of A & N Islands w.e.f. 1st July, 2026. The Revised Rates of Minimum Wages are as under:
Unskilled: 660.00
Semi-Skilled/Unskilled Supervisory: 741.00
Skilled/Clerical: 864.00
Highly Skilled: 947.00
Order copy of revised rates of minimum wages may be downloaded from https://labour.and.nic.in/. All employers of the establishments have been requested to comply with the revised rates failing which punitive action as per the provisions of Code on Wages, 2019 shall be initiated.
