
Mayabunder, Aug. 24: MY Bharat, in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi College, Mayabunder, organized a district-level competition under the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’ campaign to promote awareness about the importance of a drug-free society and encourage youth participation in nation-building activities.
Inaugurating the programme as the chief guest, Shri S. Krishna Chaitanya, ADM, Mayabunder, highlighted the significance of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat campaign and emphasized the vital role of youth in building a healthy and drug-free society. He also spoke about the role of ICRA and the MANAS Helpline in strengthening awareness and prevention initiatives related to substance abuse.
As part of the programme, students participated enthusiastically in various competitions, including painting, music, dance, slogan writing and reel-making. Participants also took part in activities such as the Gems of India Challenge through the Gems of India portal, showcasing their creativity, talent and enthusiasm.
At the conclusion of the competitions, prize money and awards were distributed to the winners.
During the closing session, Shri Deepak Kumar, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat, presented a brief report on the proceedings and outcomes of the event.
