Names of NFSA Beneficiaries Possessing AAY & PHH Ration Cards without Updated e-KYC with Aadhaar to be Cancelled

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 30: All NFSA beneficiaries possessing AAY & PHH ration cards have been informed that despite repeated requests to get their e-KYC updated with Aadhaar for all members registered in the ration card, many beneficiaries have failed to comply with this direction. The Department has taken several measures and left no stone unturned to inform the beneficiaries regarding updation of e-KYC of all members in their respective FIC.

In spite of these extensive measures, a considerable number of AAY and PHH beneficiaries have still not approached their Fair Price Shops, Directorate of CS&CA or Supply Units (CS&CA) to complete their e-KYC.

The Department of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (CS&CA) has made extensive efforts to ensure e-KYC compliance by conducting 260 door-to-door campaigns in remote areas, launching 19 awareness drives through print and electronic media, disseminating information via Fair Price Shops, reaching out directly to beneficiaries through phone calls, and introducing the “Mera KYC” mobile application, which supports Aadhaar-based authentication using biometric, iris, and facial recognition.

The names of all such members/card holders will be cancelled/deleted with immediate effect. Hence, all left out beneficiaries have been requested to visit their nearest Fair Price Shop along with Aadhaar numbers for completing the e-KYC process within the stipulated date as informed in the earlier press release. They may also approach the Directorate of CS&CA, Room No. 20, Sri Vijay Puram or their respective Supply Units.

However, if the names of any genuine person have been deleted from the Ration card, they can approach with valid documents to their respective units and update their e-KYC. For any further information, one may contact the Toll-Free Helpline: 18003453197.
