Sri Vijaya Puram, July 15: In coordination with the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), South Andaman, 1(AN) Naval Unit NCC conducted a motivational session for the children of the Child Care Institution (CCI), Balika Niketan, Attam Pahad yesterday. The programme was aimed to motivate and inspire the children by familiarising them with the Indian Navy and the National Cadet Corps (NCC), highlighting the values of discipline, leadership, patriotism and service, as well as opportunities for personal development and careers in the Armed Forces.
During the interactive session, 1(AN) Naval Unit NCC personnel explained the role of the Indian Navy in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests and highlighted the benefits of NCC training, leadership development and certification. The children actively participated in the interaction and gained valuable insights into career opportunities in the Armed Forces.
