Sri Vijaya Puram, April 28: In a major move aimed at bolstering employee morale and ensuring career progression, the Personnel Department has successfully conducted 4 Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings for the vacancy year 2026 for filling up of the posts of Amalgamated Clerical Cadre.
DPC meeting for promotion to the posts of Assistant Secretary/Assistant Director (Admn) was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary on 02.04.2026 and as per the recommendation of the DPC, 5 Office Superintendent has been promoted to the post of AS/AD(Admn). DPC meetings for promotion to the posts of Office Superintendent & Head Clerk/AIC were held on 27.04.2026 and as per the recommendation of the DPCs, 22 Head Clerk/AICs have been promoted to the post of Office Superintendent and 31 HGCs have been promoted to the post of Head Clerk/AIC. Necessary orders in this regard have been issued on 27.04.2026.
Similarly, a DPC meeting was earlier held on 30.01.2026 for promotion to the post of Higher-Grade Clerk and based on the recommendation of the DPC, 156 Lower-Grade Clerk have been promoted to the post of Higher-Grade Clerk.
