Sri Vijaya Puram, April 21: In a major crackdown against drug peddling, the Police Station Pahargaon successfully apprehended one individual involved in illegal trade of narcotic drugs and seized 194 grams of methamphetamine.
On 19/04/2026, upon credible information regarding trade of methamphetamine by one individual near Attampahad, immediately a raiding team comprising Insp. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO PS Pahargaon along with SI Manish Narayan, HCs Santosh Lal, K. Jayaraj and PCs Samsudeen was formed.
The team swiftly rushed to the spot and intercepted Ram Krishna Das S/o Gurongo Chandra Das, 62 yrs R/o Manjery No.1 and recovered 194 grams of methamphetamine from his possession. The recovered contraband was seized on the spot and accused was arrested after observing all legal formalities.
The entire operation took place under the command of Insp. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO PS Pahargaon under the guidance of Shri Deependra Kumar Singh, DANIPS, SDPO South Andaman.
