It is hereby informed to the general public that FIR No. 28/2026 dated 14.05.2026 under Sections 3(5), 316(2), and 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, has been registered at Police Station Crime & Economic Offences, Sri Vijaya Puram, and the investigation of the case is in progress. During the course of investigation, allegations have surfaced that Shri Jayant Biswas, C/o Upen Biswas, R/o 1-65/1-405, Road No. 8, Rabindranath Society, Madhapur, Telangana–500081, Directors of M/s Jayant Biswas.com and Metalloids Technology Pvt. Ltd., having a branch office at Nayasahar, South Andaman, along with his associates/agents, had allegedly induced members of the public across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands to invest money on the assurance of high returns/dividends and is suspected to have collected an amount of approximately ₹44 lakh from various investors. As part of the ongoing investigation, it is necessary to identify and examine all persons who may have invested money with the aforesaid individual, company, or its representatives.
Therefore, all such investors/victims having any claim, grievance, or relevant information pertaining to the said transactions are requested to contact or submitted the detail of investment to the Investigating Officer, Sub-Inspector Shaji Mathew (Mobile No. 9476084840) and Police Station Crime & Economic Offence (landline No. 03192-232586) Crime and Investigation Department, Sri Vijaya Puram, and furnish the relevant documents/details at the earliest to facilitate a fair, complete, and lawful investigation. The public is advised that the matter is under investigation and the allegations are subject to verification in accordance with law.
