
Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 21: The Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Program Workshop (Batch II) was successfully conducted on 19 January 2026 at the ICAR–Central Island Agricultural Research Institute, Sri Vijaya Puram. The workshop was organised as part of the National Mission on Karmayogi, an initiative of the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India.The second batch consisted of 34 staff members, representing the Technical, Administrative, and Skilled Supporting Staff of the institute. The one-day programme was conducted by Master Trainers Dr R. Kiruba Sankar and Mr Kanishk Bhukar, with active coordination and support from Mrs Asma Bibi and Mrs Naga Venkat Laxmi. The programme was conducted under the overall guidance of Dr Jai Sunder, Director, ICAR-CIARI.Participants were familiarised with the core principles of the Karmayogi framework, with emphasis on role-based learning, competency development, and outcome-oriented governance. The workshop concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing appreciation for the structured delivery and practical orientation of the sessions, which highlighted their relevance to improving professional effectiveness and public service delivery.
