Sri Vijaya Puram, June 20: In exercise of the powers conferred under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Act No. 59 of 1988), read with the Administration’s Notification No./2008/F.No.32-95/2008-TR dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman has notified for the information of all concerned, that the stretch of road from Old CCS Junction to Dairy Farm via Vijay Baugh Road has been declared a One-Way Route with immediate effect, subject to the following restrictions:
•All Buses and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), except those with 12 wheels or more shall be diverted via Vijay Baugh route with entry from Dairy Farm an exit at Old CCS, Junglighat.
•No vehicle, except two-wheelers, shall be permitted entry from Old CCS Junction towards Dairy Farm via Vijay Baugh Road.
This order shall remain in force until further notice and is issued in the interest of public safety.
