Billiground, April 16: Acting on credible information, a team from Police Station Billiground led by SI P.C. Manickam, SHO, along with ASIs Pradeep Kr. Kindo and Sunil, HCs Abhijeet, Samir and Sheela, and PCs Selvam, Litton, Manojeet, Sony and Sagar conducted a well-planned raid at Thoratang.
During the operation, the team conducted an intensive search of the plantation area and through persistent and meticulous efforts, successfully recovered a hidden stash of liquor buried underground.
A total of 177 sealed bottles of IMFL of various brands were seized from the spot. The accused has been apprehended and necessary legal action has been initiated in accordance with law.
This successful operation highlights the strong ground-level intelligence, coordinated teamwork and firm commitment of North & Middle Andaman District Police towards curbing illegal activities and maintaining law and order in the region.
