Sri Vijaya Puram, July 3: Movement of vehicles has been restricted vide notification no. 3258 dated 17th June, 2025 in view of the dilapidated condition of deck slab and beam of Chatham Bridge. This is causing inconvenience to the commuters coming through Chatham Jetty.
In order to facilitate the commuters, Transport Department will be operating additional services between Bus Terminus, Sri Vijaya Puram and Bambooflat on all days starting from 04.7.2025. Buses will be operated as per the following schedule.
Bambooflat to Bus Terminus, Sri Vijaya Puram: 7.15 am, 8.00 am, 3.00 pm, 5.00 pm
Bus Terminus, Sri Vijaya Puram to Bambooflat: 10.30 am, 12 noon, 5.15 pm, 7.15 pm
