Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 19: A two-day National Level Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet & Expo will be held on 23rd and 24th February, 2026 at Megapode Resort, Haddo, Sri Vijaya Puram. The Meet is being organized by the Department of Agriculture, Industries and Fisheries of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration in association with Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Kolkata and supported by APEDA, MPEDA, Coconut Development Board, NFDB and RAMP
This two-day event offers a unique opportunity for progressive farmers, Agri-Horti Entrepreneurs, Fishermen, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), MSEs and Startups from the Islands to showcase their products directly to national buyers under one roof.
By connecting sellers with buyers under one roof, the Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet & Expo 2026 aims to expand market reach, enhance visibility, strengthen their brand presence and foster new business partnerships beyond regional boundaries. Active participation across both days will ensure a dynamic and outcome-oriented event, highlighting the Islands’ rich potential in agriculture, fisheries and allied sectors.
Alongside the B2B buyer–seller interactions, a dedicated product exhibition will be organised as part of the event, showcasing the diverse and unique products of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The exhibition will feature a wide range of products including coconut and value-added coconut-based products, spices such as true cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaf, black pepper, marine and fishery-based products, tropical cut flowers, multifloral honey and other value-added products.
The National-Level Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet & Expo 2026 is expected to be a landmark initiative for promoting the Islands’ products on a national stage and facilitating sustainable economic opportunities for local producers through direct buyer linkages.
