Nicobar District Police Strengthens Community Engagement through Jan Sunwai with Tribal Chiefs of the Villages at Car Nicobar

Car Nicobar, April 13: On 11.04.2026, Shri Rahul L Nair, IPS, the Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District along with the SDPO and SHO Car Nicobar, convened a Jan Sunwai-cum-Citizen Committee meeting with the Chief Captain, Tribal Council members and Village/Community Heads at Car Nicobar.

Key issues discussed like Motivating youth to stay away from drugs, promoting adherence to traffic rules and Enhancing information sharing between the public and police.
