Mayabunder, May 10: Notice is hereby given under the provisions of Sub-Section (1) of Section 150 of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Panchayats) Regulation, 1994 that meeting of all the elected members of Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman will be held at 12 noon on 13.05.2026 in the conference hall of DC’s Office, North & Middle Andaman for the election to the Office of the Adhyaksha /Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksh/ Up-Adhyaksha for the 5th year term of Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman commencing from 14.05.2026.
Oath will be administered to the newly elected Adhyaksh/ Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksh/ Up-Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad Members on 14.05.2026 at 11 am in the Conference Hall of DC’s Office, North & Middle Andaman.
Under Sub-Section (6) of Section 150 of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Panchayats) Regulations, 1994 the Offices of the Adhyaksha for the first & third year of the Zilla Parishad shall be reserved for the women and for the fifth year in favour of member, if any belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.
