Sri Vijaya Puram, June 22: The Tourism Department, A&N Administration in collaboration with all allied Deptt., will be organizing the Monsoon Food & Spice Fest #MonsoonFlavours 2026 from 26th to 28th June, 2026 at the ITF Ground, Sri Vijaya Puram, besides beach sports at Corbyn’s Cove. The festival seeks to provide a vibrant marketplace for local enterprises while promoting sustainable livelihoods and entrepreneurship besides promoting A & N Islands as best tourist destination throughout the year. The event will feature vibrant cultural programmes by local musical groups/bands etc.
Interested Hoteliers, Restaurants owners, food vendors, Self Help Groups (SHGs) and individuals can reserve space for sale/ display theme based items during the festival, as per the past practices. Vendors involved in sale of local spices, agro products, horticulture products, organic produce, traditional delicacies, and innovative culinary creations are especially invited to participate and showcase their products. State associations can also participate in the Monsoon fest. Space to SHGs and state associations will be provided on rent free basis.
Creative volunteers interested in showcasing their talents through self-composed poetry recitations, skits, instrumental performances, live art, and other creative expressions are also invited to participate in the festival. Apart from this, indoor games like arm wrestling & chess will be organized and the winners will be awarded prizes.
The Department will allot suitable space to artist for exhibiting their painting and other artistic work on rent free basis. The application for stalls may be downloaded from the official website of the Department of Tourism, A & N Administration at https://tourism.andamannicobar.gov.in/whatsnew.php or may be obtained from the Operational Section, Directorate of IP&T, during office hours. The last date of submission of application form is 24/06/2026 by 11 AM and allotment of Stalls by the Committee will be done on the same day by 4 PM.
