Kozhikode, July 2: The All India Conference of Students Federation of India (SFI) was held at Kozhikode in Kerala from 27th to 30th June, 2025. About 800 Delegates and Observers from 28th States and Union Territories in the country attended the Conference which was jointly inaugurated by the veteran journalist Sashikumar and Theatre Activist MK Raina on 27th June, 2025.
Abdul Warish, Convener, SFI Andaman & Nicobar State Organising Committee represented the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the Conference and participated in the discussion. He briefly explained the problems and issues faced by the students in the islands and emphasized the need to strengthen the SFI to highlight these issues.
The Conference elected new office bearers of the SFI. Adarsh M. Saji and Srijan Bhattacharya were elected as President and General Secretary respectively of the SFI. A number of former Presidents and General Secretaries of SFI including Prakash Karat were honoured in the Conference.
The Conference concluded with a massive rally at Kozhikode beach on 30th June, 2025 which was addressed among others by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
