Sri Vijaya Puram, June 23: The High Court Legal Services Committee successfully organized the 2nd National Lok Adalat on 21st June, 2025 at the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta, Circuit Bench at Port Blair. The Lok Adalat was convened under the aegis of the State Legal Services Authority (ANSLSA) to facilitate amicable settlement of disputes through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
A dedicated bench comprising Hon’ble Mr. Justice Jay Sengupta (Chairman) and Ms. Tasneem, Member, presided over the proceedings of the Lok Adalat. The session aimed to provide speedy and cost-effective justice, reducing the pendency of cases while promoting legal awareness and access to justice for all sections of society.
