Port Blair, Dec. 1: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has demanded for construction of a Helipad for people of Harinagar, Swadesh Nagar, Betapur and Nimbudera Panchayats for immediate evacuation of critical patients and other emergency needs.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament said that during his recent visit to Middle Andaman a large number of residents of Billiground and nearby regions contacted him and pointed out that for nearly four Panchayats of nearby regions viz. Harinagar, Swadesh Nagar, Betapur and Nimbudera Panchayats, there is an urgent need to construct a Helipad for emergency cases.
