Port Blair, March 27: The All India Chess Federation (AICF) under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India will be organizing the 31st National Under-18 (Boys & Girls) Chess Championship-2022 from 18th April to 23rd April 2022 at Indoor Stadium, MCET Campus, Pollachi, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Port Blair, March 25: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on Wednesday (23-03-2022) during the budget session of Parliament raised demands concerning Andaman and Nicobar Islands Parliamentary constituency, during the discussion on Demand for Grants concerning the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. 

The Member of Parliament has put forth some demands concerning Andaman & Nicobar Islands before the Ministry in the Parliament:

Port Blair, March 25: The Mopla community of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are celebrating the 100th Year of its existence in this pristine Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Organization has planned to organize an event comprising of a rally from Chatham to Cellular Jail on 27th March, 2022. The rally is expected to commence from Chatham at 8.30 AM. This shall be followed by a brief programme at Veer Savarkar Park, Opp. Cellular Jail.

Port Blair, March 25: The City Congress President, Shri. Mohd. Zubair has congratulated Advocate Rakesh Pal Govind on being elected as the new President of Local Born Association and expressed confidence that he will serve the Islands with dedication and diligence.

Port Blair, March 25: Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC, Chief of Air Staff (CAS) accompanied by Mrs Neeta Chaudhari President AFWWA are on their maiden visit to Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) from 23 Mar 22 to 25 Mar 22. During the visit the Air Chief visited Headquarters Andaman & Nicobar Command, Air Force Station Car Nicobar, and other strategic locations. He was briefed by the C-in-C, about the role and capabilities of the integrated theatre command, which have matured over 20 yrs since 08 Oct 2001. The Chief of the Air Staff, also called on Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd), Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
