Port Blair, June 16: The road leading from Pema Junction to Teylerabad will be closed for all the vehicular movements for 4 days from June 19 to 22, 2023 to start the tack coat and bituminous work. Hence, all the vehicles will be diverted through the route from Bimblitan, Calicut and Teylerabad village during the said period.

Port Blair, June 15: A two days Summer Camp for Divyangjan & their siblings being organized by the Composite Regional Centre- A& N Islands under the Administrative Control of NIEPMD Chennai, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in association with Pankh NGO and Chinmaya Mission got underway today at its premises at Brookshabad. The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS as the chief guest. The Secretary (Social Welfare), Smti Pallavi Sarkar, IAS, Director (Social Welfare), A& N Administration, Dr. Nitin Shakya were among others who were present on the occasion.
