Port Blair, June 3: In terms of the provisions contained under Section 135C of the Representation of the People Act 1951 and read with Rule 86 of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Excise Regulation 2012, Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has ordered that 04/06/2024 (Date of Counting) to be observed as ‘DRY DAY’.

Port Blair, June 3: Passengers have been informed that, due to technical reasons, the scheduled sailing programme of the vessel Nalanda to Diglipur via Mayabunder on 04.06.2024 at 2100 hrs from Port Blair and her return voyage on 05.06.2024 at 1030 hrs from Diglipur to Port Blair via Mayabunder has been cancelled. Passengers those who are holding the tickets of Nalanda have been advised to cancel their tickets and get full refund.

Port Blair, June 3: The vessel M V Swaraj Dweep is expected to arrive at Port Blair on June 4 at 1200 hrs from Vizag. She has on board, a total of 934 passengers with 12 infants. On arrival, the vessel will be berthed at Haddo Wharf and passengers will be disembarked immediately.

Port Blair, June 3: The Department of Fisheries, in association with ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Cochin proposes will be organizing a three days Training Programme on ‘Marine Ornamental Fish Breeding’ during the third week of June, 2024. The training programme includes classroom lectures and practical session on hatchery technology, breeding, seed production and rearing of common Marine Ornamental Fishes involving 25 selected participants from A&N Islands.
