Port Blair, April 25: The Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR) today distributed more than 100 health kits to the children residing at Pranab Kanya Sangh, Darussalam - Goal Ghar , Bethney Child Care - Bathubasti and Balika Niketan - Atam Pahad. On the occasion Shri Mandeep Grewal, President of PBGKR expressed his gratitude to Shri Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, SA and Chairman, DCPU & the entire team for having maintained the Children Care Institutions so as to provide a clean and hygienic environment for the children.

Port Blair, April 25: The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell, JNRM in association with the DAY-NRLM, Gram Panchayat, Beodnabad organised a three days Skill Development Training on Embroidery in Burmanallah Village, Beodnabad Gram Panchayat for the women from 21st to 23rd April 2022.  The valedictory function was held on 23rd April 2022 in the Gram Panchayat Hall.  Dr. H.K. Sharma, Principal, JNRM was the Chief Guest.

Port Blair, April 25: The sudden rise in power demand in the islands has created a severe paucity of power demand in Port Blair and adjoining areas of South Andaman. A detailed demand side management has been prepared by the Electricity Department to ensure optimal utilization of available power. In pursuance of the same this detailed directions are being issued.  All consumers have share in the demand generated for power consumption. Port Blair, April 25: To mark the ‘Manav Ekta Diwas’, a blood donation camp was organised Sant Nirankari Bhawan, branch Chouldari on 24th April 2022. The camp was also to commemorate Baba Gurbachan Singh’s Death Anniversary.
