Port Blair, Jan. 16: On the occasion of 71st Raising Day, Andaman & Nicobar Police organized a Ceremonial Parade on 16th January, 2023, at Police Line Parade Ground. Shri Naveen Kumar, Assistant Commandant (IRBn) of A & N Police who was the ceremonial Parade Commander, presented the salute to the Shri Neeraj Thakur IPS, Director General of Police, A&N Islands.

Port Blair, Jan 17: The ENR (Engineering News-Record), United States of America has announced its 2023 group of industry professionals named to the National Top 20 Under 40 list—recognition of the best of construction's next generation across 10 regions and the culmination of the annual Top Young Professionals conference. Among the top 20 featured Mr. Ankur Podder, S/o Mr Ranjan and Kakali Podder who hails from Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Port Blair, Jan 16: At the call given by the CITU Andaman & Nicobar State Committee, hundreds of workers participated in the Victory Processions all over the union territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands today (16.01.2023) to celebrate the Court case won by the Andaman Sarvajanik Nirman Vibhag Mazdoor Sangh (ASNVMS), affiliated to CITU, in the Calcutta High Court on the 1/30th of pay plus DA case to all the Daily Rated Mazdoors.

Port Blair, Jan. 16: It has come to the notice of the Tourism Department that some tourists while on visit to the Natural Bridge at Laxmanpur-ll, Shaheed Dweep walk on corals and protected marine biodiversity due to lack of information and knowledge. The coral reef & coastal ecosystem is fragile in nature and therefore, it needs to be protected & conserved.
