Port Blair, July 22: Under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program were organised at Tushnabad Panchayat Office today. Shri R.S Meena DANICS Director Panchayat distributed the National flag to the villagers of Tushnabad panchayat in presence of my self Anand Amrit Raj Pradhan, Smti Gurjeet Kaur Extension Officer, Smti Kakoli Ghosh, Panchayat Secretary, Shri Salamat Ali, PSM, Smti Anila Panchayat Secretary, Up-Pradhan, Sarpanch, PRI Members and staffs of the panchayat.

Port Blair, July 22: Seven positive cases have been detected today in A&N Islands, of which, 4 was from incoming flight passengers who arrived here yesterday. Today, 8 flights with 1053 passengers arrived, out of which, 933 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 90 passengers and the reports are awaited.

Port Blair, July 22: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,89,298 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,876 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 26,124 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 45,088.
